Matt's dad came over for a visit this weekend. We had a nice, but short, visit. We were finally able to take Jim to Clark's Fish Camp Saturday. We tried to go a couple of years ago, but the restaurant and parking lot were flooded. We even found out later that there was an alligator in the bathroom!
We went to church Sunday morning and then to Village Inn for breakfast. Jim left after breakfast and we headed back to church for the Great Expectations luncheon. The Great Expectations ministry is for parents-to-be and they will partner us with a prayer partner. They will also provide meals after the baby is born. After the lunch we went on a tour of the nursery so we know where to take him later.
While Jim was here he offered to buy the travel system for the baby. I had already picked on out that I really like, so we went to Babies R Us to buy it. We went in Jim's car and the box was huge, so he and Matt had to go back later with Matt's truck to bring it home. We are very thankful for this generous gift. I also promise that we won't make you buy something for the baby when you come visit! We love having guests!

What a great gift from Jim and Jean! Does Lisa know that just because she's there this week that she doesn't have to buy anything for the baby?
Isn't it nice to get things checked off your list of 'to dos'? Hooray. :) What a blessing and a generous gift!
