Baby Shower #1

Matthew and I had our first baby shower this weekend at his aunt Monett's house hosted by Matt's mom. Barbara was nice enough to host one because she knew it would be hard for the grandparents to travel up to here. Besides family being there, some of my friends from high school also came. Jana came the farthest, driving down with her sister from Atlanta. We played a baby trivia game, which I stunk at, but most everyone else there has had one or more babies, so they clearly had an advantage. It was a fun game and we got a little competitive. Barbara made sandwiches with blue bread she bought from Publix, a cupcake cake with Publix icing (my favorite!) and chocolate lollipops she decorated. We were blessed with great friends that "showered" us with wonderful gifts. We are getting so much closer to Robbie coming and at least we are ready with clothes and other necessities, though I don't know if we are quite ready for him yet! Twelve weeks is not that much longer!
