Long post, lots of pictures.

I know I have slacked on posting since it has been a week since our trip down to St. Pete, but I figure, better late than never!

Matt and I headed down to St. Pete Thursday night and made awesome time. I guess we usually head down for holidays, along with half of the state. Of course the kids were in bed when we pulled in around 10 pm, and we all didn't stay up for much longer! Chat was sweet enough to make pancakes the next morning and we headed to Chick-fil-a in the afternoon so Mia could play on the playground while Matt, Jonathan and I headed to visit Grandma. She seemed to be doing ok after her fall, but I'm glad she headed over to stay at the Woodson's. Jonathan ad Chat have a board game called Settlers of Catan, which Matt had played before, but I never had. We played 3 games that day and it sure is fun! I did not win one of those 3 games, but now I feel like I can play with a strategy in mind rather than just guessing where I should put my pieces. I didn't think I'd like it, but I'm looking forward to going back down and trying for a win.

Saturday we headed to Matt's mom's house and looked at her pictures from Paris. Boy are we jealous we couldn't go with her! She had a good time with Pat, Mariruth and Caitlin. That night was Mimi and Gramps birthday dinner at Monett and Gary's house. Apparently Monett, Gary and Barbara were the only ones that knew we were coming, because even Kim (Matt's cousin) was surprised that we were there! Of course we didn't want to jump out at Mimi and Gramps in fear the party might take an ugly turn, we just met them at the door. Yes, they were surprised to see us!

We left early Sunday morning to get out of Tampa before the Super Bowl crowd and traffic showed up. We joked that we could have called friends from church and met up with them for lunch if they were out because we didn't miss church traffic.

It has been extremely cold this week! Thursday night Matt and I decided to put a cup of water outside just to see what would happen. Check out the picture!

Thursday was Nick and Robyn's 4th anniversary! Time really is just flying by! Sorry your card is late, I'll try harder next year.
