Happy Father's Day!!

Last year I took pictures of the kids for Matthew's Father's Day gift.  Here is what we gave him:

Not to ruin every Father's Day gift Matthew will receive in the future, but I fully intend to have Matthew update it every year.  It was a little harder this year because I got so many cute pictures of Robbie and Alex and one super adorable one of Catie.  I printed them all and am making Matthew choose which one he's going to use this year.

I also got him a cookie cake.

Alex's Last Day

Alex's last day of Mother's Morning Out was May 12th.  He's been looking forward to going to Mrs. King's class (Robbie's school) for a while, so I don't think he was too disappointed to be done with MMO.

Alex's teachers at the end of the year weren't the same as the teachers he started with.  I'm sure his first teachers were wonderful, but I really liked the 2 he ended the year with.  And maybe it was just a coincidence, but the second half of the year Alex really came out of his shell.  He was talking more and would even sing songs from school.  And he just loved Ms. Melanie and Ms. Kristel!

Usually when I picked up Alex one of the helpers would go back to the classroom and walk him out.  On the last day we were allowed to go back to the room.  The kids were doing circle time with Ms. Kristel.  I almost felt bad for interrupting.  Hopefully some of the kids in his class will be back at school next year.

Alex's teachers also put together a Letter book that he worked on all year.

I love these pictures and how the teacher's set up the shots.  Of course, Alex doesn't remember saying that tunnel time was his favorite thing.  :)

I love this collage, too.  And I wish I knew why Alex was looking at William in the first picture.
